Yolande - Sweden (Wedding)

1. How many persons were in the group?

We were around 36 people from Sweden and Malta.

2. What are the most challenging aspects of organizing a large group visit in Gozo?

The Swedish came from different parts of Sweden so it was challenging to co-ordinate the arrival and pick up times but Bellavista provided us with a solution whereby guests can be picked up from Malta's airport and dropped off at their own respective farmhouses.

3.How did Bellavista Farmhouses Gozo help you overcome them?

Although it was challenging to work with Gozitan suppliers, Bellavista Farmhouses were very friendly and helpful ,provided us with Prosecco glasses and surprised me with flowers as I was getting married in Gozo! They are lovely people!

4.What advice would you give to anyone organising a large group visit to Gozo?

There are many beautiful spots and lovely restaurants on the island and I recommend booking a personal taxi driver. On demand taxis are quite difficult to come across.

1. How many persons were in the group

We were 24 people.

2. What is the most challenging aspect of organizing a large group holiday visit in Gozo?

Finding a reliable, comfortable place to stay at an affordable price, especially when planning a last-minute trip.

3. How did Bellavista Farmhouses Gozo help you overcome them?

Bellavista Farmhouses gave us exactly that – our farmhouses were comfortable with incredible views and private pools, yet felt homely and authentic at the same time. We loved having our own cluster of three houses next to each other, which meant that we could all meet up in one house for dinner and breakfast.  The sunset from their terraces with the Cittadella in the background is also truly unbeatable! Maria and the rest of the team’s flexibility ensured that we had exactly what we needed for our stay.

4. What advice would you give to anyone organising a large group accommodation holiday in Gozo?

Go for it! Especially with Bellavista Farmhouses taking care of most of the logistics for you, it’s easier than you’d think.

1. How many persons were in your group?

We were 30 people.

2. What is the most challenging aspect of organizing a large group holiday visit in Gozo?

Finding the perfect accommodation, that everybody likes and that can be paid by all pupils. The group should have the possibility to be together and celebrate in the evening but also a private room!

3. How did Bellavista Farmhouses Gozo help you overcome these challenges?

Bellavista Farmhouses offers a very comfortable accommodation with swimming pool and much space for everybody. The pupils felt like kings and queens with that beautiful sunset. Also, they can share a room with a best friend, have their privacy, but can also be with the others in the living room or at the pool area.

4. What advice would you give to anyone organising a large group accommodation holiday in Gozo?

Relax, nothing can happen on such a small island like Gozo, nobody can be lost! Let kids have their free time around the swimming pool and let them organise the food and drinks by themselves, they can use delivery service from the supermarket in Xaghra or Victoria. You cannot manage everything in detail.

REPRESENTATIVE - EDUCATIONal SCHOOL TRIP

  1. HOW MANY PERSONS WERE IN THE GROUP?

Our group had 40 international school pupils and 6 group leaders to take care of them.

2. WHAT ARE THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECTS OF ORGANIZING A LARGE GROUP VISIT IN GOZO?

In our case, our school pupils’ ages were between 10 to 13 years old. Therefore, our top priority was their safety. However, once in Gozo we quickly realised how safe and tranquil the island was.

4. HOW DID BELLAVISTA FARMHOUSES GOZO HELP YOU OVERCOME THEM?

As the houses our pupils stayed in were all next to each other, this made managing all the 40 pupils instantly easier. As leaders, we simply stayed one in each house and it made look after the pupils very easy.

5. WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ANOYONE ORGANISING A LARGE GROUP VISIT TO GOZO?

Do it more often! Pupils need to have their fun and they had a wonderful time swimming in the pools and exploring the lovely island of Gozo on their hikes and educational visits to the beautiful sites. Gozo has so much to offer.

They've made the process for us much easier. They gave us many farmhouses near one another so that we can all be together and once the weekend was over they always put everything that was left behind in a box for us to collect at a later date!

4. What advice would you give to anyone organising a large group accommodation holiday in Gozo?

Make sure that the people coming up are responsible enough to take care of themselves as at the end of the day, everyone wants to enjoy it equally. Don't organise something alone but rather set up a group of people to organise and help!
